Tom and Field from Zeacliff

    Mt Tom - 4047'

    The mountain was named for Thomas Crawford, whose family lived at the height of land in the notch and ran the famous Crawford House. The summit is partly wooded but still has a few nice views. South along the ridge are Field and Willey.

    The easist route to the summit from Crawford Notch is via the Avalon, A-Z, and Mt Tom Spur trails, for a total distance of 2.9 miles.


    Trailheads

    • Crawford Notch - Park in the Crawford Hostel Parking lot. The trailhead is just behind the Depot.
