The Jim Libery Cabin sits .5 miles south of the summit of
Chocorua at the intersection of
the Liberty and Hammond trails. It is a small cabin with
six bunks and a cooking area. It
was built in 1934 by the Forest Service to replace a shelter
on the same site.
