Pinkham Notch Visitor's Center

    Pinkham Notch - 2050'

The first camp at this site was built in 1920. The current complex of buildings houses AMC staff, researchers, visitor center and hiker hostel. It is located at the top of Pinkham Notch, just south of the Wildcat ski area on Rt 16. It is open year round for meals, lodging and day use.

Pinkham is the starting point of many trails on Mt Washington including the Tuckerman, Boott Spur, Lion Head, Huntington, and the Old Jackson Rd. On the east of the notch, the Wildcat Ridge trail heads up Wildcat A. The AT runs past Pinkham from Madison Springs and on to Carter Notch.
